What we collect

The Karate Dojo is a static website. We do not offer accounts, we do not run a newsletter sign-up, and we do not sell anything, so we do not ask you for or store personal information.

Hosting and logs

The site is served through Cloudflare. To deliver and protect the site, Cloudflare may process technical data such as your IP address and basic request logs. This is standard infrastructure data and is not used to identify you personally.

Cookies and tracking

We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. Fonts and images are self-hosted, so the pages you read here do not load third party trackers.

Links and embedded content

We link out to platforms such as TikTok, Instagram and YouTube. When you follow those links or view content hosted there, the privacy policies of those platforms apply, not ours.

Your choices

Because we do not collect personal data, there is nothing for us to export or delete on your behalf. If you have any privacy question, email hello@the-karatedojo.com and we will help.

About the content

The Karate Dojo publishes news, results, athlete profiles and rankings for informational purposes. We work to be accurate and to source results from official records, but we make no guarantee that everything is complete, current or error-free.

Intellectual property and credits

The original writing, design and layout on this site belong to The Karate Dojo. Athlete names, event names and federation marks (such as the WKF, EKF, PKF and OKF) belong to their respective owners; The Karate Dojo is an independent publication and is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, any federation. Photographs are credited to their photographers where known. If you are a rights holder and would like a credit added or an image changed or removed, contact hello@the-karatedojo.com and we will act promptly.

No warranty

The site is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, The Karate Dojo is not liable for any loss arising from the use of, or inability to use, the site or its content.

External sites

We are not responsible for the content, accuracy or practices of third party websites we link to.

Changes

We may update this page from time to time. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated version. These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands.
